  Alice was born in Brazil, a long with his little sister Alicia. He was named Alice because his parents had thought that he would end up being girl, and despite being a boy, they named him Alice anyways. His father was born and raised in Brazil, and his mother was born in Canada, met his father, and lived there for the rest of her days. His childhood was like any other kids childhood. A normal, fast paced, adventurous one. As a kid, Alice would always wander off wherever he please, curious about everything. Because of this, his parents would tend to scold him very often. Even if he did get in trouble from time to time, Alice stilled enjoyed the affection of his parents either way.
  Growing up, he lived in a fairly modest home. It wasn't the best, nor the worst house there was. Only 4 years after Alice's birth,Alicia was born into the family. After those few years of being the only child, Alice couldn't help but grow up with a jealousy towards his younger sister, the child who had become the pampered one. The familys' 'little baby.' When his parents would ask him to take care of his little sister Alice would whine and complain about how much he didn't like her. It wasn't until Alice was in middle school that he began to tolerate his spoiled sister. But even then the two children would fight amongst themselves constantly. Being the older one and the boy his parents would always blame the fights on him. If Alicia cried and lied about being pushed or hit by him, Alice's parents would immediately go along with Alicia, and never hear Alice's side of the story.
After graduating middle school, his father had found a new job opportunity in Japan. They wouldn't be extremely rich, but they would be richer with this new job of his. Alice didn't want to move, and neither did Alicia. It took a few days of thinking it over, arguing and convincing til both him and his sister would be okay with leaving their home country. During the end of his middle school year and the beginning of his high school year he began to study Japanese the best he could. Going to a tutor with Alicia and taking the language class in his school, the boy had managed to learn Japanese pretty well with the rest of his family. He writes the characters very sloppy, but understands them nonetheless.
Their family had moved as soon as that school year was over. They left their friends, relatives and neighbors all behind. Alice was enrolled into Doubutsu High because someone had recommended it to his parents. Alicia was enrolled into another school.}_Club:_{Cooking (even though he fails at it)
